The Halo
Melt into a state of deep relaxation with our tranquil shoulder, neck and scalp massage, with elements of Indian Head Massage throughout.
Customise your treatment with your choice of specially selected Neom aromatherapy oils to be used throughout your appointment.
Warm oil is drizzled over the shoulder/neck area and through the hair to condition and nourish. Along with a sense of wellbeing it promotes relaxation, releases tension, eases migraines and reduces stress levels.
Swedish
This blissful aromatherapy massage is designed with you in mind. A selection of premium Neom London essential oils are chosen by you, for you, to cater to how you wish to feel during and after your luxurious massage.
With such a range of therapeutic benefits, this is one of our most popular massage styles for ultimate relaxation.
Aromatherapy Swedish massage promotes deep relaxation, soothes aches and pains and instils an incredible sense of well-being. Both the techniques and the pressure of the massage can be adapted to suit your individual needs.
Deep Tissue
Our deep tissue massage is designed for those who wish to have a firmer pressure. Both Swedish and deep tissue massage styles involve routines using the palms of the hands and fingers to knead and manipulate your tissues; in a deep tissue massage here at The Dr Jenni Clinic the elbows and forearms are also used to apply increased pressure.
In this deep tissue massage, more focus is placed on the inner layers of the muscles and this is an excellent way to treat injuries, pain and stiffness, providing relief to muscle groups and joints alike. Combining slow stroking motions, pressure, and trigger points, our deep tissue massage will reduce pain and improve flexibility along with other health benefits such as: lowering your blood pressure, reducing inflammation and aiding better sleep.
Sports Massage
A sports massage is a type of therapeutic massage specifically designed for athletes and individuals engaged in regular physical activity. It focuses on the needs of the athletic body, and its primary goal is to prepare for, and recover from, strenuous physical activity, as well as to prevent and treat injuries. Here are some key aspects of sports massage:
1. Targeted to Athlete Needs: Sports massages are tailored to address the specific demands placed on an athlete’s body, which can vary depending on the sport and the individual’s training regimen.
2. Techniques Used: It often involves a combination of techniques such as deep tissue massage, Swedish massage, trigger point therapy, stretching, and myofascial release. These techniques are used to enhance performance, aid in recovery, and increase flexibility.
3. Pre-Event and Post-Event Massage: Pre-event massages are usually short and stimulating, designed to prepare muscles for high-intensity activity. Post-event massages are geared towards reducing muscle soreness and speeding up recovery after intense activity.
4. Injury Prevention and Recovery: Regular sports massages can help prevent injuries by keeping muscles and connective tissues flexible and supple. They can also aid in the recovery process if an injury has occurred, by promoting circulation to the injured area and reducing muscle tension.
5. Physical and Psychological Benefits: In addition to physical benefits like improved flexibility, reduced risk of injury, and enhanced recovery, sports massages can also provide psychological benefits such as stress reduction and increased focus.
6. Suitable for Everyone: While it is designed for athletes, sports massage can be beneficial for anyone who engages in regular physical activity or has a physically demanding lifestyle.
Jess is trained in understanding the unique needs of athletes and is skilled in applying the right techniques to support your physical and performance goals.
Hot Stone Massage
Our Hot Stone Massage is a specialty therapy that involves the use of smooth, heated stones. These basalt stones are known for their heat retention properties and are placed on specific parts of your body. The warmth from the stones penetrates deep into your muscles, easing tension, improving circulation, and promoting deep relaxation.
Benefits:
- Deep Muscle Relaxation: The heat from the stones helps to relax muscles, making it easier for your massage therapist to access deeper muscle layers.
- Pain Relief: Effective in relieving muscle tension and pain, including conditions like fibromyalgia and arthritis.
- Improved Circulation: The warmth improves blood flow, aiding in the healing process and promoting overall wellness.
- Stress Reduction: Offers a calming experience that aids in stress relief and promotes emotional well-being.
Setting the scene…
As you enter the treatment room, the ambience is already set for you with relaxing low lighting, candles, and gentle music to promote a sense of comfort and well-being. The heated treatment couch is draped in sumptuous blankets to maintain warmth and comfort to help soothe and unwind.
Once you have chosen your essential oil, it is blended expertly so it is ready to use in your treatment.
After discussing any specific areas of concern you may have, your therapist will leave the room to allow you to undress in your own time and get comfortable on the couch. All that’s left is for you to relax and enjoy before floating away to continue the rest of your day.
