At The Dr Jenni Clinic, we use advanced dermatoscopic technology to examine individual moles and skin lesions in detail. This gentle and painless procedure allows our clinicians to see beneath the surface of the skin, revealing features that are not visible to the naked eye.
A small amount of gel is applied before the dermatoscope is placed on the skin. This enables early detection of changes that may indicate pre-cancerous or cancerous transformation.
If any concerning features are identified, we will discuss these with you and advise on the next best course of action, including referral if needed.
