The Hydrafacial Treatment Explained

To start our Hydrafacial treatment we carry out a facial cleanse; even if you don’t have any makeup on, it’s a nice introduction to your treatment. Then we move onto detoxifying the skin, beginning with lymphatic drainage. This is a very gentle sequence that improves the circulation of the lymph system and helps to eliminate toxins that can build up over time.

Our next step is to deep cleanse the skin using vacuum suction which uncovers brand new skin cells with its exfoliation technique. A solution called Activ-4 is used on the skin, containing botanical ingredients, lactic acid and glucosamine, this helps to stimulate collagen, aid a gentle exfoliating effect and cleanse deeper into the skin.

Following this, we treat the skin to a gentle peel to sweep away dry/dead skin cells, promote an even tone, brighten the complexion and minimise fine lines and wrinkles. This can also benefit clients with a combination / oily skin to soften blackheads and impurities ready for extraction.

Once the skin has been prepped, we can remove any blocked pores, blackheads and debris from deeper into the skin with extraction. Purging out these impurities with salicylic acid helps to regulate the sebaceous glands, reducing congestion, whilst honey extract provides an antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effect.

So what makes the Platinum Hydrafacial different?

Our Platinum Hydrafacial includes a customised skin booster treatment of your choice, tailored to suit your needs:

• Dermabuilder peptide complex stimulates collagen production and improves cell structure strength. This booster treatment helps smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, whilst increasing skin firmness, resulting in even skin tone and texture.
• Britenol intensive spot corrector minimises the appearance of brown spots/pigmentation. It acts as a tyrosinase inhibitor to block melanin production and provides natural lightening of pigmentation. Vitamin C clarifies and brightens the skin, functioning as an antioxidant to produce collagen.
• RegenGF provides an all-over to the skin, promoting hydration, plumping, anti-inflammatory and firming properties.

 Our final steps for the Platinum Hydrafacial are to fuse, protect and rejuvenate. Antiox serums saturate the skin’s surface with antioxidants and peptides to maximise your glow. It improves texture, clarity, appearance of signs of ageing as well as firming and tightening the skin.

L.E.D light therapy completes our Platinum Hydrafacial. Light Emitting Diodes (L.E.D.) was designed by NASA in the 1960s. Using red L.E.D. light helps to stimulate the production of collagen, reducing redness to calm, and soothes, all whilst supporting the natural production of vitamin D. Blue L.E.D. light therapy helps to improve the appearance of oily or congested skin, killing p. acnes bacteria to calm active acne.
