Your Ongoing ADHD Care
Your Titration Phase
Once you’ve received your ADHD diagnosis and initial prescription, we will begin what’s known as the titration phase.
This is the period where your medication dose is adjusted gradually to find the most effective balance, where you experience the greatest benefit with the least side effects.
Your prescribing doctor (Dr Jenni, Dr Naomi, or Dr Shefali) will guide you through this process with careful monitoring and regular check-ins.
You’ll also be supported by Nurse Jules and Nurse Rachel, who provide clinical follow-ups, review your progress, and help ensure your medication plan remains both safe and effective.
During titration, you’ll need to keep an eye on your blood pressure, pulse, and weight. If you’re booking an online appointment, please make sure you have these readings available before your consultation – they’re essential for safe prescribing and continuity of care.

Ongoing Reviews and Follow-Up Appointments
Once your titration period is complete and your medication stabilised, you’ll move into the maintenance phase of your ADHD care.
This includes:
- 6-Month Review Appointment with Nurse Jules or Nurse Rachel
To review your symptoms, side effects, medication efficacy, and overall wellbeing. - Additional check-ins available any time you need extra support or advice.
We believe in care that evolves with you – because life, demands, and ADHD itself can change over time.

Your Resources
As you complete your titration phase and your medication stabilises, you may be interested in arranging a Shared Care Agreement with your NHS GP. This allows your ongoing ADHD medication to be prescribed and managed through your NHS practice, while your specialist team at The Dr Jenni Clinic remains available for advice, oversight and reviews.
Before proceeding, please check with your GP surgery to confirm whether they accept shared care from a private provider, as this varies between practices. The Dr Jenni Clinic cannot take responsibility for whether your NHS GP agrees to shared care, and we are unable to liaise directly with the surgery unless they confirm acceptance.
If your GP agrees, we can provide the necessary Shared Care Proposal Document for you to present to them. There is a £75 administration fee for completing this documentation.
How to Request Your Shared Care Document:
- Go to our online booking page.
- Search for Shared Care Proposal Document as your appointment type.
- Choose any practitioner and any available time slot (this is not an attended appointment).
- Complete payment of £75.
- Within 7 days of your booked slot, your completed document will be emailed to you.Discover more about The Dr Jenni Clinic Adult ADHD team
If you’d like us to email your shared care document directly to your GP surgery, please include your GP practice’s email address in the appointment notes when booking. Otherwise, you can simply print and hand-deliver the document to your GP.
