With a BA (Hons) in Integrative-Relational Counselling and a specialisation in trauma and PTSD, Iwona is a fully qualified and experienced counsellor. She is an accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), working both in private practice and within community services. Her warmth, expertise, and empathetic approach provides the foundation for meaningful change.

Words From Iwona: Your Journey, Your Way

My approach to counselling is Integrative-Relational, which means I focus each session on your exact needs, drawing on a range of therapeutic methods to best support you. At the heart of my work lies the belief that the relationship we build together is the most important element of therapy.

With years of experience and a deep commitment to understanding the complexities of human emotion and behaviour, I provide expert support across a wide range of challenges. My specialised expertise in trauma and PTSD allows me to guide clients through some of life’s most overwhelming experiences, helping them find clarity, resilience, and healing.

I also work extensively with individuals facing anxiety, depression, and stress, offering strategies to ease emotional burdens and build a stronger sense of self. For those navigating bereavement, low self-esteem, or relationship challenges – whether with partners, family, friends, or colleagues – I create a safe and compassionate space to work through the pain and discover new paths forward.

Additionally, I have a deep understanding of the emotional challenges associated with a new diagnosis of ADHD. I support clients in making sense of this life-changing discovery, helping them find tools to thrive and feel empowered in their lives. I also work closely with women navigating hormonal changes, such as perimenopause and menopause, where shifts in mood, energy, and identity can feel unsettling. My approach helps women reclaim balance and confidence during these transitions.

From panic attacks and self-harm to the complexities of parenting and family dysfunction, my approach is grounded in empathy, professionalism, and an unwavering focus on your unique needs. I also help individuals rebuild their lives after friendship breakdowns, divorce, or significant life changes, empowering them to reclaim confidence and balance.

All appointments are conducted online, giving you the flexibility and comfort to access therapy from wherever you are.

Your Path to Support and Well-Being

Your first session with me is £125. This session allows us to explore your needs, discuss your goals for therapy, and determine how we can work together to support your emotional well-being.

After the initial session, ongoing sessions are £90 each. These are designed to provide you with consistent support, helping you navigate challenges and move towards greater balance and understanding in your life.

Therapy is an investment in yourself – a step towards healing, growth, and achieving a better quality of life. Together, we’ll work at a pace that suits you, focusing on what matters most.
